Debi L. Dube: reviews
“With the recent purchase of a new condominium, of course, I was eager to get started with decorating my new space. However, when the builder asked me to select paint colors, I immediately knew I needed help! Not wanting to make costly mistakes, I had the good sense to contact the professional services of Debi Dubé of Debi Dubé Interior Design. Since this will, most likely, be the last home I decorate, I wanted to be certain to do it right the first time. The paint selections Debi helped me with look fabulous; thank goodness I contacted her! I look forward to continuing our work relationship as I am confident that, with her expertise, the end result will be a beautiful home that I will be proud and delighted to live in.”

“Wow! that’s the word that comes to mind when I think of the fantastic design work Debi has done in our home. I love the mixtures of colors and textures. The layout of the furniture provides a balance that only a designer can acheive. I have always loved to decorate and felt I was quite good. However, I couldn’t quite bring it all together. I was missing the “WOW” factor, Thanks to Debi, I now have that. Debi wanted to know my family’s likes and dislikes, our personalities, and what we planned to do in each area of our home. The result is beautiful. My husband truly believes that hiring Debi actually saved us money in the long run! She saved us from making costly mistakes. We did it once and we did it right.”

“One lesson we learned in renovating our Matunuck cottage was to seek the advice of an interior designer sooner. We spent 6 months meeting, collaborating with an architect on the outward appearance of our cottage. It wasn’t until we were 70 % into the reconstruction that we sought Debi’s advice, and she quickly saved us from some disastrous choices. She has the ability to walk into a room and envision what it will look like if the right decisions, and the wrong decisions are made. She helped us make the right choices.”

I began working with Debi Dube Interior Design early on during the construction phase of our new home. She provided invaluable help with paint and stain colors, granite design, tiles, lighting and more. Her sense of balance, a discerning eye and an ability to bring a sense of calm during an otherwise frenzied time were key for me. I was most impressed with the way Debi helped me see the bigger picture as the project progressed. She saw all the pieces of the puzzle and each achieve.
I learned a great deal from Debi. We met to choose window treatments, furniture and floor coverings. In each case she took the time to explain why designs work, how colors compliment and especially how to bring warmth into a home. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Debi. Our project continues to be a work-in-progress and I will count on her input as we work on the finishing touches.

Debi has a wonderful ability to be creative and stay focused on the project. She has guided us with redecorating two rooms in our home and encouraged us to ‘take it up a notch’ and expand our comfort zone. We have been very grateful for her creative skill and patience. I learned a lot from Debi in terms of how all the elements work together.
An appointment with Debi is truly a value added experience packed with ideas and practical tips. When someone asks me, "How can you afford a decorator?" I think of my experience with Debi and reply “How can you afford not to. She’ll save you from costly errors.”
